Terms of Service

Welcome to PadiPlanner (“PadiPlanner”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PadiPlanner mobile application, website and related services.

By creating an account or using PadiPlanner, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use PadiPlanner.

By using the platform, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, the information you provide is accurate and up to date, and you will comply with all applicable laws.

2. Your Account

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, maintaining accurate account information and all activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to share your password with anyone.

3. Usernames

Each user has a unique username. Users may invite others to groups by searching for their username. PadiPlanner does not use followers, friend requests or mutual friend features as part of the platform. You may not impersonate another person or use a misleading username.

4. Using PadiPlanner

PadiPlanner allows users to create planning groups, organise trips and events, share plans with invited members, create polls, track shared expenses and collaborate within groups. You agree to use these features responsibly.

5. Group Content

Content you create within a group may include events, notes, polls, expenses, photos and comments. This content is visible only to members of that group unless otherwise stated. You remain responsible for any content you upload.

6. Shared Expenses

PadiPlanner provides tools to help users record and calculate shared expenses. Users are responsible for verifying amounts entered, agreeing how expenses are split and settling payments between themselves. PadiPlanner is not responsible for disputes regarding shared expenses. If payment functionality is introduced in future, additional terms may apply.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to break any laws; upload unlawful or offensive content; harass or threaten other users; attempt to hack or disrupt the platform; upload viruses or malicious software; use the service for fraudulent purposes; or interfere with other users’ enjoyment of the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

PadiPlanner, including its name, logo, design, software, graphics and content, is owned by PadiPlanner or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or distribute any part of the platform without our prior written permission.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create. By uploading content to PadiPlanner, you grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

10. Privacy

Your use of PadiPlanner is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your information.

11. Third-Party Services

PadiPlanner may integrate with third-party services including payment providers, cloud hosting providers and analytics services. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

12. Availability of the Service

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify features, perform maintenance, suspend services temporarily or introduce new functionality without prior notice where necessary.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PadiPlanner shall not be liable for loss of profits, loss of data, indirect or consequential damages, disputes between users or decisions made based on information shared within groups.

Our total liability shall be limited to the amount paid by you (if any) for using the service.

14. Termination

You may stop using PadiPlanner at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, use the platform unlawfully or engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are significant, we will notify users through the app or website. Continued use of PadiPlanner after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
